There are two jigs for hollow ground sharpening. They are located in the drawers below the grinders. The white aluminum oxide wheel is to be used for hollow grinding.
Splinters or chips from cuttings made on the table saws can clog the dust collection pipes. A prototype fix has been installed on Saw #1 and appears to be working. It will be tested for another week after which time, if it is still working well, a permanent solution will be made to both saws.
The Board has purchased a new jig for turners. This is set up with angles to make pieces for segmented bowls. It is calibrated in number of pieces, not in degrees. It will be located at the monitor station for sign out.
